The Eastleigh Region

Zion Projects believes that the Eastleigh North region has a specific regional destiny.

The historical railway Town Centre is ideally suited to receive the fibre optic cables that will form a inverted 'T' IT hub for the South of England in the 21st century.

Southampton Airport (in Eastleigh) gives amazing connection to other national and international airports.

The Railway Network itself is fully refurbished at Southampton Parkway and Eastleigh is on all main lines from London to Portsmouth and Southampton.

Eastleigh has a mix of sub-urban, semi-rural and rural environments and is therefore typical of many such areas in the UK.

Zion Projects' vision is that what the Lord accomplishes in the Church of Eastleigh will be something that is replicable in the nation in due time.

Eastleigh North – the regional “unit” of locality for Zion Projects Kingdom delivery

From its inception, Zion Projects has sought to recognise the Church across the region of Eastleigh North. This area represents Eastleigh Town Centre, Chandlers Ford, Bishopstoke, Fair Oak and Horton Heath.

This "unit of locality" is relationally connected, primarily by the 5 secondary schools in the area, namely Wyvern Technology College, Crestwood Business College, Quilley School of Engineering, Toynbee School and Thornden School.

The relational development from nursery children through to 16 years and beyond into adulthood into the tertiary colleges at Eastleigh College and Barton Peveril are served by a series of primary / junior schools and associated organisations into the partnership that serves the children of the area.
